How to take Screenshot or Screen capture on tablet with Android 4 ICS?

On an Android 4 tablet, I am unable to take a screenshot pressing the 'back button' and 'home button' simultaneously. Has the method changed for Android 4 devices. I have a Micromax Funbook P600 model.

I do not know which method

I do not know which method will specifically work for Micromax Funbook P600 model. But since it has Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, try one of the below two methods.

Can't say which one will work on your tablet, try both:

Method 1: Press the 'volume down' and 'power' button both simultaneously (you have to press them simultaneously or each button will behave in its own way; lowering the volume or just switching off the power). A screenshot will be saved in 'screenshots' or 'screen capture' folder created inside the 'gallery' folder.

Method 2: Press the 'Home' button and 'Power' button simultaneously. The screenshot will be saved in the 'screenshots' or 'Screen capture' folder created inside the 'gallery' folder.

The methods mentioned by

The methods mentioned by @sasi work for Android 4 ICS and Android 4.1/4.2 Jelly Bean tablets.

For Android versions before the Android 4 ICS, try the below method:

Method 3 for versions below Android 4 ICS:
Press the 'back' and 'home' buttons simultaneously and look in the 'screen capture' folder inside 'Gallery' folder.
