Samsung has launched its Galaxy Tab 2 series of Tablets only for the US market. Speculations earlier were that the Tab 2 series will see an international launch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 series will have Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system. The two tablets unveiled now are the first of the Android 4 Tablet PCs from Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 which is a 7” tablet comes with a video hub of 1000+ titles. We wonder which service they will use when they launch in India, and the service used is important. We don’t want to watch too old and flop movies, do we? It also comes with Samsung’s AllShare Play software which enables content to be shared between different AllShare enabled devices. The 7” tablet is priced at $250 for the US market, which can be considered a more or less a premium tablet when it is launched in India.

The other tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 is priced at around $400 and is likely to be available from May 2012.
