As part of its Learning Series, Intel has launched the Intel Studybook, an education Tablet. Intel’s Learning Series aims at bringing technology to the classroom by combining specially chosen hardware, software and content for the classroom. Solutions are provided by local partners.

To withstand the rough handling of the Tablet by School Students, this Tablet has been made rugged and is 70cm drop resistant. The rubber covers for ports provide dust and water resistance.

It has Intel Atom processor, 7” capacitive multi-touch screen and has a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. It has primary and secondary cameras, single speaker and digital microphone.

The touch optimized Lab-cam software allows the Tablet to be used as a microscope. Users can attach any standard Microscope lens to the Camera lens and view the objects in the Lab-cam display.
