How To Change Predictive Text And Correction Settings In Android?
Text correction in Android predicts words while you are typing and also the next words. It can also auto-capitalize the first word of every sentence. You can switch ON/OFF some features contained in Android's Text correction. This post shows you to do so with the 'Gboard' keyboard app which has been recently made the default keyboard app in Android.
- Go to Settings>>Language & input
- Tap 'Current keyboard' and select 'Gboard'. If you do not have Gboard, install it from here.
- Now tap 'Gboard'. Refer to above image.
- Tap 'Text correction'.
- You can toggle ON/OFF the settings. The settings are self-explanatory. If you need any help to understand, leave a comment.
